• Account information: email address, name, and password (or OAuth provider ID if you sign in with Google).
• Practice submissions: writing responses and speaking recordings you submit for AI feedback.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, exercise completion, and scores to track your learning progress.
• Technical data: browser type, device type, IP address, and referral source, collected automatically via cookies and analytics.
• Payment information: if you purchase credits or a subscription, payment is processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store credit card numbers or bank details.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve our exam preparation platform.
• To process your writing and speaking submissions through AI models and return feedback.
• To track your learning progress and display statistics on your dashboard.
• To send essential service emails (account verification, password reset).
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To analyze usage patterns and improve the user experience.

4. AI Processing

When you submit writing or speaking responses, they are sent to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, ElevenLabs) for analysis. These providers process your content solely to generate feedback and do not use your submissions to train their AI models.

We retain your submissions and the AI-generated feedback so you can review your progress over time. You may request deletion of your submissions at any time.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We share data only with:

• Service providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Google Gemini (AI feedback), ElevenLabs (text-to-speech), Vercel (hosting), and Google Analytics (usage analytics).
• Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data. You can opt out by using a browser extension or adjusting your browser cookie settings.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data and submissions for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication via Supabase, and access controls on our infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
