Editorial Policy, Sources, and Corrections
This policy explains how CELPE-BRAS Practice separates official facts from independent guidance, documents evidence, handles time-sensitive information, uses AI tools, and corrects errors. It applies to public guides, research pages, past-exam records, and product claims published by Oleksii Vasylenko Tec Ltda.
Source hierarchy
We prefer the closest available primary source. A page should make clear whether a statement is an official rule, a receiving institution’s requirement, a platform observation, or general study advice.
- INEP notices, candidate guidance, regulations, and official CELPE-BRAS pages for exam rules, dates, registration, and certification.
- The UFRGS CELPE-BRAS archive for past editions, task records, and historical source material.
- Current ministry, university, or professional-body documents when a claim concerns immigration, academic admission, or professional recognition.
- CELPE-BRAS Practice’s own catalog or documented dataset only for bounded first-party facts such as library inventory and corpus analysis.
Review and update rules
Review frequency follows the likelihood and consequence of change. A displayed review date means the page was checked against its cited sources on that date; it does not imply endorsement by the source organization.
| Content type | Update trigger | Required evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Exam dates, registration, fees, and centers | When a new official notice is published and before the relevant cycle | INEP notice or portal |
| Immigration, academic, and professional pathways | When the linked rule or notice changes; otherwise during scheduled editorial review | Responsible ministry, program, institution, or regulator |
| Exam format and evaluation explanations | When INEP publishes revised guidance or framework material | INEP framework and candidate guidance |
| Past-exam records and original analysis | When the corpus changes or a record is corrected | UFRGS archive plus downloadable record-level data |
| Prices and product inventory | When plans or catalog totals change | Current product configuration and catalog |
AI assistance and human accountability
AI may assist with drafting, translation, classification, or practice feedback. It is not treated as a source. Public factual claims must be traceable to a linked source or clearly labeled first-party observation. AI feedback is not an official exam grade, and machine translation remains subject to editorial correction. The operating company remains responsible for published content and corrections.
High-stakes information
Pages about naturalization, university programs, medical diploma revalidation, deadlines, or fees provide general orientation only. They must link to the responsible authority, avoid presenting one pathway as universal, and tell readers to verify the current rule with the institution handling their case. The site does not provide legal, immigration, medical, or admissions advice.
Corrections process
Readers can email the page URL, disputed statement, and supporting source to hello@celpebras.study. Reports are assessed against primary evidence. Material factual corrections update the visible page, modification date, structured data where relevant, and the revision record below. Minor spelling or layout changes may be corrected without a separate entry.
Material revision record

| Corrected naturalization guidance to describe CELPE-BRAS as one accepted form of Portuguese evidence rather than the only route. | |
| Published the 24-record task-analysis dataset with methodology, limitations, archive links, and downloadable JSON. | |
| Aligned indexed metadata, hreflang, structured data, prices, library facts, and cited answer summaries with the current site. |
