1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CELPE-BRAS Practice ("celpebras.study", "the platform", "the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. The service is operated by Oleksii Vasylenko Tec Ltda.

2. Description of Service

CELPE-BRAS Practice is an online platform that helps users prepare for the CELPE-BRAS (Certificado de Proficiencia em Lingua Portuguesa para Estrangeiros) exam. The service includes writing practice tasks, speaking practice with AI-generated examiners, grammar exercises, and AI-powered feedback on submissions.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Free and Paid Plans

The platform offers both free and paid tiers:

• Free plan: access to browse tasks and a limited number of AI writing reviews per month.
• Paid plans: monthly subscriptions with increased or unlimited AI reviews, speaking sessions, and additional features as described on the pricing page.
• Credit packs: one-time purchases of additional credits. Credits do not expire.

5. Payments and Billing

• Subscription fees are billed monthly on the date of your initial purchase.
• All prices are listed in US dollars unless otherwise stated.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your payment card details.

6. AI Feedback Disclaimer

AI-generated feedback is provided as a study aid and learning tool. Please be aware that:

• AI evaluations are approximations of CELPE-BRAS evaluation criteria and may not perfectly reflect actual exam scoring.
• We do not guarantee that using our platform will result in passing the CELPE-BRAS exam or achieving any specific score.
• AI feedback should be used alongside other preparation methods such as classes, tutoring, and self-study.
• AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform through automated means.
• Submit content that is offensive, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure or other users' access to the service.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service or its content.

8. Intellectual Property

The platform, including its design, code, content, exercises, and AI models, is the intellectual property of Oleksii Vasylenko Tec Ltda or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

Content you submit (writing responses, speaking recordings) remains yours. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it through AI for feedback purposes and to store it for your learning history.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CELPE-BRAS Practice and Oleksii Vasylenko Tec Ltda shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Service Availability

We aim to keep the platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to registered users via email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
